Abstract

Quality Control (QC) plays a crucial role in the agroindustry by ensuring that products comply with established quality and safety standards. The responsibilities of QC professionals encompass raw material inspection, production process monitoring, product testing, food safety assurance, and continuous quality improvement. This article aims to review the role of Quality Control in the agroindustry and examine competency development strategies through personal branding, soft skill enhancement, professional image building, and networking. The method used in this study was a literature review of scientific references related to quality management, Quality Control, human resource development, and professional development. The review indicates that the effectiveness of Quality Control professionals depends not only on technical competencies but also on communication skills, problem-solving abilities, discipline, adaptability, and professional relationship management. Strong personal branding can enhance professional credibility and visibility, while effective networking can broaden career opportunities, knowledge, and collaboration within the agroindustrial sector. Therefore, the integration of technical and non-technical competencies is essential for developing competent Quality Control professionals and supporting effective quality management in the agroindustry.
